This project involved creating a cinematic poster from an original visual concept based on the idea of restriction, control and oppression. I used a central image of a hand gripping a chain as the main symbol, building the composition around it and using a dark, minimal visual language inspired by classic film posters such as Alien, Scarface and Get Out. I worked with black-and-white treatment, typography, compositing, adjustment layers and textures to integrate the different elements and create a tense and unsettling atmosphere. The typography was also designed to reinforce the concept, using a tall and narrow style.
